iPhone 4 camera better than other smart phones

Image quality of a camera does not only depending on megapixels, it also depends on the sensor and the lens.  iPhone 4 uses a 5 megapixel camera with a 3.85mm lens that has an aperture of f/2.8.  The sensor is 1/3.2-inch CMOS sensor.

According to MacWorld tests, iPhone 4 camera image quality is better than other smart phones such as Droid X and EVO 4G.  The HD video quality is even more impressive which is better than all the smart phone tested and Sony DSC-WX1 point and Shoot camera. Just behind the popular Flip Video M2120.

Based on my tests, iPhone 4 HD video quality, especially the low light video is very very good.  The camera is also very very impressive.
